How do I care for my jewelry?
These pieces are designed to be worn every day, and your jewelry will develop a beautiful surface as you wear it: bright highlights with distinctive dings and scuffs, darkly patinated details and crevices. There's very little care involved, just enjoy watching your grow in personality.
If you wish, use a toothbrush and mild soap to gently clean your jewelry. A gentle touch with a silver polishing cloth can brighten highlights, avoid polishing gels or liquids baths, since these will disrupt the patina and may damage any stones.
How do I figure out my size?
Necklaces: The only right answer is the look you prefer! To test length, cut a piece of string with the right measurement and have a friend tape it closed around your neck. Looping a key ring on will approximate how a pendant will lay.
If you'd like your necklace at a different length than what's listed, contact me before ordering and we'll make arrangements.
Rings: The most reliable way to learn your ring size is to visit a local jewelry store; a professional will be happy to measure you. I can make rings to the nearest 1/4 size.
Will you make custom work for me?

Can you make jewelry using metal or stones that I provide?
Surprisingly, metal and gemstone components can vary widely! I'll need some more information from you to learn if your materials will work well. Please drop me a line with information and we'll go from there!
Can I visit your studio?
If you're in Toronto, please visit me at the Made You Look jewelry cooperative! If you'd like to meet me there and get a tour of my work space, send me a message and we'll schedule a good time.
